Aronimink predictions live Monday 12:00pm ET (in 1h 22m)

Hi Will and Matt,

I’m a new subscriber to DataGolf (Scratch Plus tier) and have been impressed with the depth of the metrics. I’d like to suggest a small UX improvement that I think would help other new subscribers ramp up faster.

When a future major-championship venue is in the queue but not yet active — for example, Aronimink during last week’s Truist Championship — the Course Fit page displays the message “Aronimink GC is not hosting an event this week. Select a course hosting a PGA Tour event to view player adjustments.” That message is technically accurate, but it leaves the user wondering whether the data is broken, broken for them specifically, or simply not posted yet.

The PGA Championship landing page elsewhere on the site notes “Predictions will be posted Monday around 12:00pm ET” — that’s exactly the information a confused user needs. My suggestion: surface that same prediction-post timestamp directly on the Course Fit page (and any other affected pages) for upcoming events.

Thank You from a newbie

Tom Kelly
