Ya delaying the API is an option I’m considering. There just isn’t a great solution; delaying the API will frustrate a different subset of users who are using it for legitimate purposes.

I use the APIs to determine all my bets so I’d be pretty crippled by that decision
One of the most affordable odds API i have found is sportsgameodds.com - I am sure you can find what you need there.
fwiw, the last two weeks (for players and valspar), when the model was released at different times than the normal 1:30pm slot, the books (mainly DK/FD) appeared to be slower to nerf their odds. anecdotally, in the weeks before that, DK/FD were nerfing their odds lightning quick, like in less than a minute from the API update on the website, fwiw. the last two weeks, they appeared to be significantly slower to nerf. could be a variety of reasons, but I think releasing the model predictions at slightly different times in the afternoon each week might help preserve the edges longer upon the initial weekly release. It might be frustrating for some users to not have the odds released at the exact same time each week, but I think having the odds stay alive for longer than a minute or two, is worth the inconvenience of having to be flexible on Monday afternoon for a varying predictions release time.

I had the same thought. Wasn’t sure if it was just anecdotal, but the odds lasted significantly longer.
Yeah, we will vary the time going forward. I’m not sure how related it is, there are just some weeks where the market is weird (more referring to last week… the Players I think is hopefully how all the majors will be this year). I was looking at FD today and seemed like things didn’t move quickly, although there also was basically no value.

There wasn’t a ton of value at onset for PGA, but there was for Euro, and it evaporated almost instantly.
Yeah Canada FD seems to be lasting longer than in the US. But in general the closer a course is to a generic PGA tour course, the less value there is going to be.

Just as a datapoint, FD/DK/Caesars locked down odds at 12:29 before anything was available on here. I don’t think there is much to do at this point but it’s nice confirmation that they are intentionally doing this, not just getting a bunch of bets and then shutting it down due to activity.
So is Bridgeman just not available at 61 on the FD you have access to? Not sure exactly where we are pulling odds from. Not that that’s a great bet anyways (non-data opinion).
winners stay up. 5/10/20 comes down. just shows a lock symbol on every single pick. It stays that way for 15-40 minutes. it’s simultaneous and seems to be coming from the same place.
This was not the case for me. Was able to bet on bridgeman 3 minutes after the model for this tournament was posted and still see him available on draftkings and fanduel at the same odds for winner and t5/10/20
Yeah nothing locked on me here in Michigan. Got most of what I wanted on DK/FD even though there wasnt much. CZR stuff died before I got to it, but I blame my shitty connection for that.
Disclosure: today I only checked Ceasars and just assumed DK/FD were the same because they usually are. I have pretty low limits on those places so not a lot of incentive to check.
