Pressure Tool (Strokes versus Position)

I feel it would make more sense if the pressure tool listed players by “Strokes behind leader” or “Strokes leading” instead of starting position (example - tied for 5th place).

There is a big difference in pressure for a golfer who is T-5 and one stroke back of the leader versus a golfer who is T-5 and 10 strokes back of the leader.

Maybe the pressure could be correlated to probability of winning
No doubt though that sole leader after 54 holes tends to play bad
