Rather than start a new thread. Has anybody studied performance of players who played in an event right after Golf’s Longest Day? Curious if there is an effect there…
No, but I noticed the betting markets gave a little boost to guys who played well. Which is probably the opposite of what you are thinking.
Yeah, I was thinking specifically of some betting influencers showing up in my searches when I was looking for updates on the Oregon playoff. There was a lot of heat on Andrew Putnam, despite the fact that he played 40+ holes Monday, a few more Tuesday morning, then had to book it from Oregon to Toronto.
