Thread of career crashes and resurrections (E.V.Rooyen edition)

Ya I think he has some form of driver yips… just looking at some of the videos of his tee shots today.

edit: or maybe a shoulder injury? Some bizarre shots, and looks a bit defeated even early in the round (also consistent with yips, though).

Imagine the player Taylor Montgomery and Dan Bradbury would be if you fused them together.

Add Söderbergs scoring ability R1-R3 to the mix and we have a new world no 1!

Glass half full perspective.

I think T20 was going for the opposite: combining Montgomery OTT with Bradbury’s putting!

At least he gets a course fit bump this week based on his accuracy.

Way too early but a certain popular podcast guest / former host who is currently driving the ball like 2023 Dylan Fritelli is being monitored for inclusion in this thread.

Haha was literally coming here to post about Homa.

Adam Schenk has also been very bad. He had a very good April but since a 13th at the CJ Cup he has no top 50s and 10/13 MCs. He is driving the ball fine but the other 3 SG categories have not been good.

Davis Riley :grimacing:…I remember taking a beating fading him during his run in '22.

There was some big EV on him yesterday though over Hardy. Came through!

Riley +300 vs him was hilarious. Nice hit!

HOMA’s downslide continues. Grillo is now being monitored.

Ya I thought Homa was coming around given the decent recent ball-striking numbers, but this week was ugly.

last place in distance and fairways. and GIR. 4th in putting, it could be way worse. thankfully for everyone he is not likely to make the field for Torrey 2.0

Not sure Erik Barnes is worthy of a mention in this thread, but his game is completely gone. I think I was betting on him a bit in 2024.

Time for Brendon Todd to apply for a NBC analyst position.

Probably… but he has been here before (twice):

Hovland’s currently dead last after firing an 80, and Homa is one shot ahead of him. Six months ago I woulda guessed both guys would be trending up by now
